Friends visited last they talked about all of the 'towel animals' Mousekeeping left in their room each day. I have never experienced this act. Is it only done at certain hotels? Do you have to request in advance? or just luck? My kids would love this.

Hi Jennifer.  Welcome back to the Moms Panel, and thank you for your question.  I cannot remember a time in the last 10 years of visits to Walt Disney World that Mousekeeping did not leave towel creations.  While maybe not daily, we did always have something in our room upon arrival, or during our stay.  Now, from what I understand, it is not mandatory that the Mousekeepers leave any towel creations, but many do choose to, often embellishing them with sunglasses left in the room or plush characters that may be around as well.  I am sure that if you did not have anything in your room, if you left a nice note for the Mousekeeper, he/she may try to fulfill your request.  I look at these towel surprises as a little bit of pixie-dust - you just never know when it might appear!

I hope that on this visit, you are generously sprinkled with pixie-dust throughout your Walt Disney World vacation!  Have a magical day!
