Hello friends! We will be taking our sons (4+7) to magic kingdom for the first time! Any advice on the top three things to fast past? Or advice on arriving at rope drop on June 3? I'm in total rookie and panick mode. It's my first time as well. Thank you!

    Hi Mark!

Your excitement sure is contagious! Visiting Magic Kingdom park for the first time is something you'll never forget. Because Walt Disney World Resort is a big place with so much to offer, I understand that feeling of being overwhelmed in the best way!

My sons are ages 6 and 3 and very different in their interests. For this reason, we sometimes divide and conquer when making our FastPass+ selections. For instance, last month our adventurous older son went on Splash Mountain with Dad, while I met characters with our 3-year old.

You'll find helpful information on the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page including height requirements and sample itineraries to help you choose.

Because my boys are so different, I want to offer two ideas for FastPass+ selections. If your crew leans toward the adventurous side, I think you'd be happy choosing Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

If you prefer milder rides or if your kids are uneasy in the dark, I would choose attractions like Tomorrowland Speedway, Jungle Cruise, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

Remember, if you have more than one adult you can always divide and conquer like we did! Wishing you a magical vacation. Thanks for your question!
