2 of my friends and I are running the Princess Half in Feb 17. We will be making separate room reservations, but we are hoping to be placed by each other at our hotel. Can we have the bookings linked & request that we be next to each other?

Hi Meghan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love that you will be running in the Disney Princess Half Marathon with your friends! Having been a bystander at some of the runDisney races I can tell you from personal experience that these races can be such an uplifting and emotional experience for all involved. You will not only get to participate in crossing the finish line, but you will also be able to chEAR others on as they overcome their fears and chase their dreams! I witnessed a woman who was on the brink of throwing in the towel and giving up at the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. She looked exhausted and defeated. Next thing I know I hear all of us bystanders start clapping, whistling, and chEARing her on. Not only that but two other runners grabbed each of her hands and brought her the rest of her last mile. It was a beautiful and inspirational moment that I will never forget.

When making your reservation you should be able to link your reservations. You and your friends will want to be connected in your My Disney Experience Accounts. I recommend contacting the folks over at Resort Reservations. You can ask the Cast Member to link your accounts and also place a note on your reservations requesting that rooms be close to each other. The Walt Disney World Resort does try their very best to accommodate all requests, however it is important to note that requests are not guaranteed.

I hope that you and your friends have the most magical time!
