Hi! My friends and I are planning on visiting WDW in January 2015, and I was wondering if there are ever any sightings of Robin Hood (my favorite character) and Hercules (my friend's favorite) any more? I really hope there are! Thanks for the help!

    Hello Katie!

Hooray! Some of my favorite trips to Walt Disney World are when I get to go with a group of friends. You and your friend have excellent taste in rare Disney characters. I love Hercules (and Meg!), and my husband's favorite Disney character is Robin Hood. I have not heard of or seen a Hercules sighting in a very long time. Unfortunately, I don't think he will be available as perhaps Hades is up to no good again.

Robin Hood, on the other hand, has been seen during "Character Palooza," an unofficial name for an unlisted greeting with various Disney characters at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Characters vary, and it is sort of a surprise treat on days when Fantasmic! is being shown. The latest information on Character Palooza was that it was taking place in the Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror exit area. Usually, Character Palooza does not happen during the winter months. However, pixie dust may allow for a rare sighting of the Sheriff of Nottingham's foe. I would keep an eye on Kenny the Pirate's website, as he always has good information on how to locate Disney characters and updated information on Character Palooza. This is all unofficial information and characters are not guaranteed.

Although you may not be able to see all your favorite Disney characters, I know when I see my pal Mickey Mouse, I am one happy girl! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
