Friends and I are planning a trip 3/17-3/22 there are 10 of us going? What is the most cost efficient way to go, booking seperate or together in a villa? Also if we book seperate can we get rooms close together?

    Hi Lisa,

There's no universal rule with regard to the cost efficiency of booking rooms for large parties; sometimes it is cheaper to book everyone into one villa and other times it costs less to reserve individual rooms.  In general, though, I've found it is more cost effective to book individual rooms at a Disney value resort than for everyone to stay in a villa.  This is true because most villas are found at deluxe Disney resorts with more amenities.  The other advantage to staying in separate rooms is that each room can make its own decision about whether or not to add the Disney Dining Plan.  If you are all in the same villa, everyone must make the same choice.

If you do make reservations to stay in separate rooms, be sure to let the reservation specialist know that you wish to keep your party together.  That shouldn't be a problem.  Even though it is not guaranteed that they will be able to honor requests such as these, generally they are able to do so.  My requests to keep groups together have always been honored.

Best wishes as you pull your travel plans together.  Let us know if we can be of further assistance!
