Hi! My friend and I are going to WDW next year around halloween. I know they have the not-so-scary party going on then and I was wondering if it is awkward for two women to go to one of these events without kids. I dont want to crash a kid's party. Thanks!

Hi, Erica!  While this is certainly a party that is tremendous fun for kids, it's definitely a grown up friendly party as well!  Adults as well as children are welcome to dress in costume, and you will be given a trick or treat bag no matter what your age!

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to attend this event without our girls a few times, and we have just as much fun as when we are with our children - if not a bit more!  The attractions are the same ones you know and love, only usually with shorter wait times.  The Halloween parade is awesome, and the fireworks are not to be missed.

And if the evening ends with you snacking on a few delicious Halloween treats, it's got to be well worth the effort!

You will often see adults only groups (like many members of the Moms Panel last year, who attended child-free) and couples.  Please don't think you'll be uncomfortable.

I hope you decide to go and have a wonderful time.  I know I would!
