A friend told me that I can use a FastPass+ to reserve a space to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from? Is this true? Also we are not staying on Disney, can we still get the FastPass_? Thanks

    Hi AnnMarie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Yes, you can absolutely use Disney’s FastPass+ service during your upcoming visit, even if you aren’t staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The only difference is that, instead of being able to make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to your Resort arrival date, you’ll be able to make them up to 30 days prior to each day that you plan to visit one of the Theme Parks.

Your friend is also right in that you can include access to a reserved viewing area for Wishes nighttime spectacular as part of your FastPass+ selections. It’s a great way to get out from the intense crowds and from having to stake out a perfect spot for your fireworks viewing up to an hour before the show. I highly recommend including it among your selections if, like me, seeing Wishes is the only way to finish a day at Magic Kingdom Park!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
