My friend and I are taking our daughters to Disney World for their 16th birthdays! We tried to make a reservation at the Be Our Guest Restaurant for our stay to celebrate, but were unsuccessful. Will we still be able to go in and look around the Castle?

Hello, Susan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

A sweet sixteen at the most magical place on earth? I cannot think of a better way to celebrate. I have a feeling this visit will be absolutely, unforgettably, magical!

Susan, first things first. Don't give up on that reservation! Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom is definitely one of the more coveted reservations to get. But guests change plans often. I've been able to find reservations at Be Our Guest the day before my desired date. So, don't lose hope!

The official answer is that only guests with a reservation are allowed entry into Beast's enchanted castle. But with two special birthday girls, I would recommend at least asking the cast member checking guests in. There are no guarantees that they will allow it, but it's worth a try!

Sending you tons of pixie dust that you will get your wish to dine at the majestic Be Our Guest Restaurant during your visit. Don't forget to get your girls complimentary birthday buttons once you arrive! They alert cast members that you are celebrating, and you never know what magic will find you.

One last pro-tip! You can customize the buttons at Disney Springs Disney's Days of Christmas store or at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom. A talented artist at these stores can write their names beautifully and add any additional message that will make those buttons stand out and become a special keepsake, for a minimal cost.

Have a magical day and see ya real soon,
