    Mylinh from NJ Asked

My friend and I are saving up for a trip to Walt Disney World, can we book our hotel and tickets at different times before we actually go?

Hello, Mylinh! It's just so much fun to plan for a Walt Disney World vacation with a friend. There are so many amazing choices for places to stay, things to eat, and places to go.

Walt Disney World theme park tickets do not need to be purchased at the same time you make your resort room reservations. The only time you would have to combine them is if you book a package, or if you are taking advantage of one of the many special offers, discounts, or deals that has a requirement that you book a minimum number of nights in a hotel plus a minimum number of days of tickets. Those usually only come up with things like a free dining promotion, as even many of the discounts offered are room only discounts.

The one thing I do want to recommend is that if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you absolutely want to have your theme park tickets purchased before 60 in advance, so you can take advantage of the resort guest booking window for FastPass+ selections. That will enable you to skip some of the wait time for the most popular attractions.

Have a wonderful time planning, Mylinh!
