A friend and I are planning a day at EPCOT. I have a magic band (my ticket attached), she will just have paper ticket. I think she will have to create a my disney experience account in order to get FP+? Then, can we link to get FP+ together? Thanks!!

Hi, Wendy! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How exciting that you're planning a day at Epcot with your friend! My best friend and I make it an annual tradition to have a girls' weekend at Walt Disney World Resort each Fall, and visiting Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival is one of our absolute favorite things to do. You'll be there during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and that's an amazing event, too. (As a matter of fact, I'm on my way there right now!)

You are correct that it would be best for your friend to create her own My Disney Experience account and then link her ticket number to her account in order to book her FastPass+ experiences. Now, you can also set her up under your My Disney Experience account and connect her ticket for her, but my friend and I have decided to keep our accounts separate and just connect through our Family & Friends list. This allows us to book FastPass+ experiences and dining reservations together and share PhotoPass photos, too!

Should your friend decide she'd like the ease and convenience of a MagicBand in lieu of her ticket card, one of my favorite places to purchase MagicBands is at Epcot's Mouse Gear. They have a wonderful selection!

Enjoy your visit to Epcot, Wendy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan.
