I have a friend coming to Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. If they get to the park at 7:00 that night, does this take one of their daily passes or only the ticket for the party?

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Jeff!

I'm thrilled to hEAR you and your friend are planning to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park. It is a SPOOKTACULAR event you won't want to miss!

I have some magical news to share! To attend the special event at Magic Kingdom Park, all your friend will need to do is purchase Party Tickets. In other words, regular park admission tickets are not necessary for the party, just the special event tickets. On party nights, Magic Kingdom Park closes to regular-ticket holders at 7:00 p.m. Then, Cast Members begin to check if Guests walking around the park are wearing wristbands for the special event. If not, then they are graciously escorted to the park's exit, or given the option to purchase tickets for the party.

On event nights, such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, my family and I typically spend the day relaxing at our beautiful Disney Resort hotel. We generally don't visit any of the theme parks before the start of the event. That way, we can assign those extra theme park admission entitlements to another day at the parks. This strategy also gives us plenty of time to get dressed in some fun costumes before heading to the party.

Be sure not to miss Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks spell-ebration and trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park with the happy haunts!

I hope you found this information useful, Jeff. Please come back soon with more Disney vacation planning questions!
