We are frequently travelers. Have family with current resort reservations, and we will be scheduling fp together. If they end up cancelling their resort reservations, and staying off site, will they lose the fp times they reserved at the 60 day mark

    Hi there Larisa,

So happy to hear you are planning a family vacation to The Walt Disney World Resort.  The new FastPass+ system is really amazing and fun to use.  It's so nice to be able to do all of the planning ahead of time so you can relax once you arrive without having to worry about what to do or where to go next.

Only guests staying at an on-property Walt Disney World Resort hotel may make FastPass+ reservations at the 60-day mark, so if part of your group cancels and decides to stay at an off-property hotel, they will have to wait until 30 days out to make their reservations.  I suggest going ahead and making the reservations you want at that 60-day mark, as it is a great perk for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  If part of your group ends up moving to another hotel, you can all sit down and try to coordinate some FastPass+ reservations at the 30-day mark when they are able to book.  You can make changes to your current selections at any time so it doesn't hurt to book those you really want when your 60-day window opens just in case.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
