    Laura from CA Asked

Is there a free shuttle from the Paradise Pier Hotel to Disneyland and California Adventure? I have heard the walk has become longer since people may no longer walk through the other hotel grounds.

Hi, Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

I am so glad that you are considering a stay at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel! I have stayed here myself and really enjoyed the bright and cheery beach-themed rooms, the rooftop pool, and of course eating breakfast with Mickey at Disney's PCH Grill. There isn't a shuttle from the hotel to the parks, but I can assure you that the walk is a breeze!

You will want to head out the back exit of the hotel and take a right toward to the Disneyland Hotel and Downtown Disney District. You will pass by the Disneyland Hotel on your left and encounter the security checkpoint when you reach the beginning of the Downtown Disney District. From there, it's a straight shot down to the parks. This walk usually takes me around 10 minutes if I don't get distracted by the amazing shopping and restaurants along the way. If you plan to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay, you will find this walk to be even quicker as there are less people early in the mornings.

Also, keep in mind that you can take the Disneyland Monorail from the Downtown Disney District into Disneyland Park. The monorail station is located by the Rainforest Cafe and it will definitely save you some steps when you are headed to or from your hotel. Just be sure to check the wait time to see if it will be faster to take the monorail to walk to the parks.

I hope this helps. Have a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
