Free quick service meal plan states is you get 1 entree, 1 snack, 1 drink for lunch or dinner. What is exactly included in an entree and is it filling? I don't want to purchase it and have the food be so minimum that we have to purchase additional food.

Hi, Michelle!  The entree portion of the quick service meal is usually pretty substantial.  There are burgers, salads, chicken tenders, and other typical fast food type fare at many locations.

The good thing about Walt Disney World, though, is that some quick service locations offer really wonderful meals.  Columbia Harbor House at the Magic Kingdom has a grilled salmon meal, fish and chips, and a lobster roll on their menu.  Boulangerie Patisserie in the EPCOT World Showcase has Quiche Lorraine and Croque Monsieur as part of their quick service offerings.  Sunshine Seasons food court at EPCOT also has such items as rotisserie chicken and some Asian specialties.

You can get a barbecue meal at Flame Tree Barbecue at Animal Kingdom, or you might opt for a toasted Tuscan deli sandwich at the Studio Catering Company at Hollywood Studios.  I think the quick service options are quite varied, and the entree includes whatever side dishes are normally included with the meal (some meals include fries or chips or even a vegetable).

You'll also be able to select from a huge variety of snacks with your snack credit.  In addition to things you might typically think of as snacks, like the ice cream bars or popcorn, you can also use snack credits for things such as soup, crepes, fruit - things that are more substantial snacks than most people think.

I often see people on check out day at the food courts trying to use extra snack credits that they were too full to use during their stay.  In most cases, I don't think you'll need to add much to your dining plan.

    Have a great vacation!
