Are there any free gardening demos being offered during the Flower and Garden Festival.

    Hi Lynn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I cannot get enough of the bright colors, incredible Disney-themed topiaries, and fantastic special touches at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. It’s my favorite time to be in Epcot!

From March 6 to June 3, 2019, Epcot will be absolutely blooming with possibilities. While we don’t have the full schedule of events yet, there are already so many activities, interactive gardens and exhibits, and other events listed on the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival’s web pages. I encourage you to browse those pages to see what looks interesting to you, and to read the Disney Parks Blog, as more Festival news and details will be released as we get closer to the opening date. Looking at the list of Topiaries, Gardens, and Exhibits at this year’s festival, several look like hands-on experiences, and I can’t wait to learn more!

While it’s not a hands-on gardening demo, my very favorite thing from last year’s Festival was the Shakespeare Garden. It was so wonderful to see The Bard’s most famous lines brought to life, and to match the quotations to the flowers and herbs they describe so beautifully.

It’s also wonderful fun to wander the festival, munch on some tasty treats from the outdoor kitchens, and look for your favorite characters in topiary form. The topiaries are truly spectacular, so be sure to bring your camera.

I hope you have so much fun visiting the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Lynn!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
