Is the Free Dining the the better incentive that Disney offers....compared to discounted rooms?

    Hi Veronica,

Thanks for stopping by with your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Free Dining. That amazing offer that many wish. In years past, this offer has been made available during the fall, and this year it is no exception. Basically, when you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package at select Disney Resort hotels during certain times, you get one of the Disney Dining Plans for free, for all members of your party, and for the entire stay, up to 14 nights.

Room discount offers may be available that overlap with the Free Dining offer, but you can only take advantage of only one offer. The room discount offer can be a room-only reservation or a Magic Your Way Vacation Package with Dining. In this case, you get a discount on the room portion of the package, and depending on your situation, this may be a better value than Free Dining.

If you are a family with only one child under the age of ten, and plan on staying at a Deluxe Resort, the room discount offer will be a better value. On the other hand, if you are a family of five, with children older than ten years of age, and are staying at a moderate resort, the Free Dining offer save you more Disney dollars.

I suggest you contact a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or a travel agent, to help you with estimates for both options. Now, take a look at the Special Offers page for details, and hopefully you will find one that matches your need. See you real soon!
