Is the free birthday or special rewards still offered at Walt Disney World in 2011? We are going for my wife's birthday and looking forward to surprising her.

    Hi Josh,

How super sweet that you want to surprise your wife for her birthday! I'm afraid the promotion where Guests were given free admittance on their birthday is over. The 2011 promotion is "Let the Memories Begin".  This year PhotoPass Photographers will be capturing pictures of Disney Guests with a memory in the making which may become a larger-than-life image during the Let the Memories Begin nighttime experience. At night, select photos will be projected on the soaring spires of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom.

There are so many wonderful things you could do to surprise your wife. Contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at www.disneyflorist.com or call them at 407-827-3505.

You could take a romantic horse drawn carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY to book.

If you make any advanced dining reservations (ADRs) at any of the awesome dining locations on property, be sure to tell mention that you'll be celebrating her birthday when you book your reservations. Let me know if you need some suggestions. You can order a special birthday cake by calling 407-827-2253.  Advanced dinning reservations are required & cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.

You can also book a special experience like the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Reservations can be made online by clicking on the link shown or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

You could give her the gift of relaxation at one of Disney's incredible spas. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
