Can I make FPs for family joining us 5 days into our trip at my 60 day mark or must I wait until their 60 day? I plan to make fps for every day. They will be joining us only 1 day at the end of our trip. Staying at same resort and they have a 1 day ticket.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lynn!

You sound just like me: a seasoned Walt Disney World Resort traveler who is ready to take on the planning for her entire family! I truly think that half the fun is getting there, but it's also super smart to iron out some of these finer details in advance so you make sure that you get all the FastPass+ reservations you want. Being able to make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance is one of the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. I love the complimentary transportation and Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks too, but is there anything that beats the feeling of scoring that coveted Avatar - Flight of Passage FastPass+ for your entire family? I really don't there is.

Because it is a Resort Hotel guest perk, the ability to book early FastPass+ selections is tied to the party's check-in date, so you won't be able to make reservations for your family members until 60 days before their arrival. This shouldn't pose too much of a problem if you're all trying to get the same FastPass+, and there are a lot of different tricks you can try. Remember that all FastPass+ are valid for a period of one hour, so if you aren't able to get them for the exact same starting time, as long as the ride times overlap you will all be able to ride together. If you aren't able to get times to ride together right away, don't fret because 60 days is a lot of time for guests to change their plans and their FastPass+ selections. Book whatever time is available when your selection window opens, and keep checking back to see if you can modify them for a time that works best for you. You can do this all the way up until and including the days of your vacation, so you never know what kind of magic might happen!

I hope this answers your question, Lynn, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
