How the fp works in Disneyland? I heard is different from WDW and since its our first time we would like to know what is best and wich are the must have fp for rides and shows. We only will be 1 day at both parks only hubby and wife

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lina.

You'll notice that FASTPASS works a little differently at the Disneyland Resort than at Walt Disney World Resort. There is no MagicBand and you don't need to reserve FASTPASS+ in advance.

Using the Disney FASSPASS service will save your place in line while you and your husband enjoy the rest of the parks. When there is an attraction that offers FASTPASS and the return time works for your schedule, insert your admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine and it'll generate a FASTPASS ticket for you. On the ticket will be your return time. Enjoy other parts of the parks, and when it is time for your return time, head to the FASTPASS return entrance and show the Cast Member your FASTPASS ticket. You'll have minimal wait and be able to enjoy your ride!

Some of the attractions that I take advantage of the Disney FASTPASS service for are Indiana Jones Adventure, Hyperspace Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland Park, and Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin' Around the World, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure.

If you're a Frozen fan, don't miss the new theatrical production, "Frozen - Live at the Hyperion". I had the opportunity to catch it during my recent trip and it was amazing! FASTPASS ticket for this show is first-come, first-serve and you'll find the FASTPASS machines located to the left of the Hyperion Theater.

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your husband a magical first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Lina.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
