On 2/13/17 I have 1 FP 1:05-2:05 for Soarin' Can I check after I use it to see if Frozen is available although I didn't have 3 Fp?

Hi, Jim! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing us another great FastPass+ planning question. Some of my favorite FastPass+ enabled attractions do see their availability quickly taken, so I always encourage my friends to not "let it go" when it comes time to make their selections.

I am sorry to say that your plan will not work, but I do have some ideas for you. Currently, Guests visiting Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios must continue to utilize a Tier system. At each of these parks, you may choose one experience from those listed in Tier 1, and two experiences from Tier 2. You are welcome to only make one Tier 1 FastPass+ selection, or to even make three from Tier 2. However, at this time, the system will restrict you from redeeming a single Tier 1 FastPass+ choice and then immediately trying to make another Tier 1 selection.

As I mentioned, I have a couple of ideas to help make your day extra magical. Since your Soarin' FastPass+ is for early afternoon, why not go ahead and make two Tier 2 selections for that morning? You do not actually have to redeem them, but the system is not going to allow you to make another Tier 1 selection until you have used the Tier 2 experiences or their time of use has expired. If you do so, then once you ride Soarin', you will be able to try to obtain a Frozen Ever After FastPass+.

My other idea is to follow Princess Anna's mantra of if the sky's awake, then you should be awake! Don't hang around your Resort room building snowmen - get to Epcot as quickly as possible (say, no less than 45-60 minutes before park opening) and find the shortest line possible. When the park opens, scan your park ticket and walk with purpose to the Norway World Showcase Pavilion!

Thanks again for stopping by and we hope you come back anytime you have questions!
