I have four children, one of which is a baby and the other three can ride all other rides. How can my husband and I do rider switch so that we are each able to ride with our big kids if the limit for rider switch is three people?

    Hi Erica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Rider Switch Service is a great way to make sure no one misses out while the littlest mouseketeers stay safely off the thrill attractions!

The purpose of the service is really to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the attraction once, but unfortunately does not guarantee the entire party to ride both times. This means the next time around when the second parent rides, only two of the three older children will be able to board. As a mom, I understand the panicked thoughts of things being unfair and meltdowns, but I promise there are great ways to make this work!

Let each child pick an attraction they get to go solo with Mom or Dad. Kiddos love one on one time and this will make it special for them while still following the guidelines of the Rider Switch Service. While they enjoy their moment the rest of the party can shop, get a sweet treat or enjoy another attraction nearby! You'll swap, the second party can enjoy the attraction and it's the next ones turn for solo time. If you plan this way in conjunction with FastPass+ (because you'll only need 2 FastPass+ with the Rider Switch Service) you can really maximize your day! For more information on how to do that, my friend Ashley recently answered a question about it.

Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions when planning your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!
