    Tara from PA Asked

I just found out I am expecting in September and we are planning a trip to Disney World in November over Thanksgiving. We have a 5 year old as well and the trip is for her any suggestions on still having a successful trip?

Congratulations Tara! A new baby is magical, and I am sure your daughter will love being a big sister. I have traveled to Disney World with babies (!) and toddler, and I promise, not only can it be done, you will have a magical time doing it!

The first and most important piece of advice I can give is to know the locations of the Baby Care Centers and use them! The Baby Care Centers are located in each of the four parks and are a convenient place to recharge as well as take care of all of baby's needs. They are fully staffed and open during regular park hours. If you happen to forget any essentials, there is an on-site shop. Our kiddos' favorite things are the refreshing water cooler and the pint-sized toilets. Mom and Dad's favorite are the roomy changing tables!

Our daughters are the same age and Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a must. After a thrill on our favorite ride - Slinky Dog Dash, step into Woody's Lunch Box and grab a Chocolate Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart (everything is better with candied bacon!). Also, make sure to get your party on at Disney Junior Dance Party! There you can sing and dance along with Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and friends.

Once you pick your must-do Disney World experiences, take advantage of the complimentary FastPass+ service. We found the service invaluable when visiting with our twins. It allows you to plan in advance and change as you go should the situation arise.

Above all, enjoy. This trip will be about creating magical memories, and you may find that seeing Disney World through your children's eyes is the absolute best way to experience the magic!
