We have just found out that we are expecting a baby, it will be due next year and will be 5 months old when we travel. Any tips or advice for travelling with a baby? Also how do we go about adding a cot into our room and onto the holiday? Thanks

Greetings, Richard, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and heartfelt congratulations for the upcoming arrival of your baby!

Richard, may I offer the many conveniences and benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel which will prove to be quite useful to your family with an infant. You'll be able to quickly head back to your Resort hotel for a break and a nap for your baby, and staying at a Resort Monorail Hotel would add even greater ease with this as you would be a quick Monorail ride away from your comfortable Guest Room. We appreciated not having to collapse our stroller when boarding the Monorail, allowing our child to sleep right through to our Guest Room.

Disney's Planning for PresSchool Kids and Little Ones resource offers helpful Theme Park information, suitable accommodations, attractions and a handy guide for download called PreSchool Parents' Guide which you could bring with you. You can even see sample Theme Park itineraries which are perfect for families like yours, Richard.

Disney's Baby Care Centers in all four Theme Parks made us feel at home offering play, feeding and changing areas, restrooms, a kitchen area and on-site shop with essentials for babies and children.

The invaluable vacation customization through My Disney Experience will optimize your visit.

Best wishes for a most memorable visit, Richard!
