    I just found a deal on a Car Rental and I'm having second thoughts about using the ME. If we do rent a car would I still be able to check my luggage in for flight at resort the day we leave via Airtran?If yes,do I need to cx ME or keep to transfer luggage?

    Hi, Kelli!   While you can certainly do a Disney vacation without a rental car, I always opt to get one!   If you decide to get a car, you can cancel your Magical Express transportation by calling (866)599-0951.  Magical Express will not be "waiting" for you if you do not cancel, but I usually do it as a courtesy so they can plan accordingly for the amount of guests they will have that day.  If you cancel, do NOT tag your luggage with the yellow luggage tags as you will need to retrieve your own luggage when you arrive at the Orlando Airport.

    When departing, you can use the Airline Check-in desk at your resort even if not using Magical Express.   Remember that you will need to drop your luggage at least 3 + hours prior to your flight and the desk is only open 5 am - 1 pm each day.  When I was at the Airline Check-in desk just yesterday, they were very strict about the time policy.  A guest in front of me was right at that 3 hour mark and they would NOT take her bag (so she had to check it herself when she got to the airport.)   You can pay any baggage fees at this time and also get your boarding passes.

    As with any travel process, allow enough time to check your bags and to return your rental car.   And most importantly, have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
