    Karlee from FL Asked

Going to fort wilderness & EPCOT F&W for my 21st birthday with my family October 24-28! Have visited WDW many times, is there anything else you would recommend, especially for a 21st birthday? Thanks

Hi Karlee...sounds like a perfect combination for a trip. Peaceful and relaxing Fort Wilderness and fun and lively Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. What a lucky girl to be turning 21 in such a magical way!

One of our favorite spots to spend a nice evening is at the Boardwalk in Jelly Rolls. You must be 21 and there are dueling pianos who will play requests and entertain the crowds with laughter all night.  You can also head to Downtown Disney for some fun in the evenings. Check with the individual restaurant/clubs to see if there is any special entertainment during your stay.  Cirque du Soleil is a super show if you can take the time to see it. And Splitsville is set to open sometime this fall and will be a modern and funky bowling scene. Lots of lights and music. I can't wait myself to try this out when it does open.

Maybe you can convince your family to book a fireworks cruise on your birthday. This is the best way to see the Magic Kingdom Wishes show or Epcot's Illuminations. You can add a cake through private dining but they will have snacks and drinks on board in any case.

Enjoy the festival but remember...moderation, moderation, moderation.....once a mother always a mother!
