What is the food and wine festival? Will be arriving on 11/12 for the very merry xmas party and im trying to find out about the festival. How does it work, do you need a park ticket for the event. Thanks in advance

Each year, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival gets bigger and tastier! This event is being held until November 13, 2011 and offers 30 marketplace booths showcasing food and/or beverages from different countries. For example, at the Germany booth, you can order a Nurnberger sausage on a pretzel roll. And the Canadian booth serves up Cheddar Cheese soup.

Guest need admission to Epcot in order to attend the event. You can walk through Epcot and look at all the tasty treats. Then, you can order (and pay for) anything that looks appetizing to you! If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, items that can be purchased with a snack credit are indicated on marketplace menus.

A great resource for the Food and Wine Festival is found here and also at www.disneyfoodblog.com. There are special events that cost extra to attend including seminars with celebrity chefs!

This year, look for a cranberry bog in Future World!
