Another food ? for you s'il vous plait.IF I workd up the nerve to leave the kiddies with a sitter(panic attack!) WWJD for a fancy 10th ann dinner? All of the fancy places seem very fish centric&I would like to not look like Bloat on date nite!

Avec plaisir, Brandy! I've often surmised what my wife and I would do if we got a sitter and had a dinner date at Disney World. I've also wondered why portable electronics need to be turned off prior to an airplane taking off and landing, but that's another story.

Something like a 10-year anniversary doesn't come around that often. In fact, it happens even less than getting a sitter. And that's sayin' something!

I would go ALL OUT. No, not Dole-Whips. I'm talking the big league. I'm talking Victoria & Albert's.

It's going to set you back some cheddar (as in money, not the dairy type that could lead to the aforementioned bloating.) But I think it'll totally be worth it. And, speaking of bloating, here's something that will help counter that - Victoria & Albert's offers a dining experience with a six course meal spread out over the span of several hours. This both helps with digestion and prolongs the experience of enjoying one another's company.

There's a dress code. Not that you needed an excuse to get dolled up, but your husband might.

Another benefit - it's easy to explain to the kids why they're not coming: they'd find a 2+ hour meal boring and kids under the age of 10 aren't served anyways.

I can't think of a better place to celebrate 10 years of marriage. I hope you have one heck of a time!
