What is food expense cost per day at disney world for one adult?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Leilani!

Getting an idea of how much money you'll spend while dining your way around Walt Disney World is smart, and a little research will help you do so.

Most menu item prices are available on Walt Disney World's website, so think of what you may order while touring. Then, check the menu of each location and add up prices, giving you a personalized total for each day.

Here are two examples of a day of Magic Kingdom dining, with one being more conservative and the other more extravagant (all prices are subject to change):

    Option 1:

    Breakfast: Gaston's Tavern-cinnamon roll ($4.49) and coffee ($2.79)
Lunch: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn-Southwest Salad with Chicken ($12.49) and a fountain drink ($3.29)
Dinner: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe-1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans ($14.49) and an Odwalla All-Natural Lemonade ($3.99)

    Daily total: just under $42

    Option 2:

Breakfast: Be Our Guest Restaurant-Feast A La Gaston ($24) and Souvenir Castle Goblet with fountain beverage ($15)
Lunch: Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen-Baa Baa Berber Lamb Chops ($28) and Punch Line Punch ($4.50); add tax and tip
Dinner: Tony's Town Square Restaurant-Pasta Primavera with Shrimp ($28) and iced tea ($2.99); add tax and tip

Daily total: $102.49 plus tax at tip at (lunch and dinner)

Of course you can spend less than the lower total as well as more than the higher number, depending on many variables. Keep in mind, too, that guests are welcome to bring snacks and drinks into the parks as well, so that helps spread out dining dollars, too.

Happy planning, Leilani! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
