Is the food on Disney cruises included with the cost like drinks?

Welcome aboard, Aleis! My family and I love sailing with Disney Cruise Line for so many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is that so much is included in the cost of the sailings!

You'll be thrilled to know that all of your meals and snacks are included in the cost of the cruise! That's right! You will get to rotate through all three main restaurants at dinner each night, and your serving team follows you so the same dining servers you have night one are the same ones you'll be with each night! They get to know you and your preferences and you'll get to know them. They often become like family for us by the end of the cruise.

Breakfast and lunch are included too, whether you dine in one of the restaurants or at Cabanas Buffet, or even order from the 24 Hour Complimentary Room Service menu. Plus, there are Quick Service food spots on the pool deck for full meals or snacks. And my kids would be unhappy with me if I didn't mention the free soft serve ice cream! We even swing by the complimentary beverage station on the pool deck to grab a cup of Coke, then fill that up with ice cream to make our own Coke floats. Yum!

There are a few optional dining options that carry additional charges. The two Adult Exclusive restaurants on the ships are Palo and Remy. I do love the brunch and dinner at Palo, and we take advantage of the opportunity to sneak away from the kids each time and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and great food. Remy is an even more special experience which my husband and I have really loved too! These two spots and a few specialty snacks and drink spots around the ship carry extra costs, as do alcoholic beverages. But, really, there is so much already included, it's amazing!

    Happy planning, Aleis!
