Can I take food for the children into the parks

    Hi Jacqueline!

Many guests have been asking the same question as children tend to be pickier eaters and/or need snacks throughout the day. Disney does allow families to bring good into the parks. There are restrictions to what kind of containers you can use and definitely no glass containers of any kind will be allowed. Be sure and check the list of Restricted Personal Items that cannot be taken into the parks. Most families will use backpacks for carrying the items.

You can let the security personnel at the check points know that you have food so they will be as gentle as possible when going through the items.

Please understand that Disney does not offer picnic areas inside the parks. Seating that you do find is there for the quick service establishments and the guests purchasing the food. You can sometimes find a bench or simply find a shady spot and sit on the curb or grass. Please keep all areas clean and remember to dispose of trash in the nearest cans.
