Follow-up to my MNSSP/Garden Grill ?. We are not planning on doing Epcot. I thought this would be the 1 way to get the kids to the C&D feast. If we could get 4:30 / 5:00 ADR, what time are we looking to get to MK? Planning on doing nothing else earlier

Hello again, Brian!  Thanks for the follow-up question.  I see you have Chip & Dale fans.  I have one of those, too!  :)  I just checked with Disney Dining and the first reservation they will accept for dinner is 4:30 so hopefully you can get something close to that time.

The meal is served family style so you don't have to wait for food to be ordered, etc.  The service is very fast.  When we went last fall, I would say we were there for about an hour and 20 minutes but that included some extra social time, etc.  The characters came around twice for us and it was a lot of fun.  We could have easily been out of there in about an hour if we were pressed for time.

I would venture to say you can also finish your meal/see the characters comfortably within an hour or so.  Once you have finished your meal, you can walk over to the monorail and head over to the Ticket and Transportation Center and transfer to the Express Monorail to get to Magic Kingdom.  This will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

If you are able to get your reservation (ADR) at Garden Grill 4:30, I think we can estimate you will be at the Magic Kingdom by 6:15-6:30 (adjust the times accordingly if you have a later ADR).

One caution I'd like to mention - park admission is required to enter Epcot which you will need to get to the Garden Grill.    If you are not planning on being in the parks earlier, I'm not sure it would be worth wasting a day on your pass to attend the meal.  But if you have an annual pass or an extra day to spare then you should be fine.

Please let me know if you have any other follow-ups...I'm happy to help.  Diane  :)
