We are flying to WDW in August and my husband will be bringing an electric wheelchair. Will the magical express be able to accomadate the chair? My husband is able to transfer to a regular seat so he won't need to sit in it on the bus.

    Hey Miss Patty,

There is no need to worry about the wheelchair and transportation at Walt Disney World. The Disney Transportation does accommodate wheelchairs. The buses drop down with the aid of hydraulics so that the wheelchair may be easily rolled onto the bus into its own spot. The great thing is that just about every single bus has wheelchair  space and special tie downs. Usually the guests remain in their wheelchairs during the transportation. You will be pleasantly surprised at how courteous and attentive the Disney Transportation Cast Members are. They make sure that guests with wheelchairs board the bus first before the other guests so that they can have their full attention.

You will find that the special guests with wheelchairs have no problem enjoying their vacations. The Cast Members always sprinkle just a little extra pixie dust to make their trips magical too!
