We are flying to DW in exactly 90 days! I have learned so much from this panel that I never would have known but I want to learn more to make my trip absolutely perfect. What are some things that a person who has never been there before wouldn't know?

    Hi Shefflan!

Walt Disney World Resort is huge.  I don't think guests really understand that until they actually arrive.  You can't do it all on one trip.  I've been there over 100 times and I still haven't done it all.  I suggest taking it easy, especially in the afternoons, as the morning and evenings are the best times to be in the theme parks.

I also recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and  Mike Neal.  It's the perfect book for first time visitors, because it has just the right amount of information without being overwhelming.  It's also a beautiful book full of color photographs.

Finally, I also recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind the book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They're famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar and touring plans.  The crowd calendar will give recommendations on which parks to visit on which days and which to avoid.  The touring plans are step by step guides on the order to see the attractions in a particular park to minimize your wait in lines.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of collected data.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions and enjoy planning your magical trip!
