We're Florida residents planning a trip for May 201. Deciding between the Beach Club and Beach Club Villas. We thought the Villas would be more expensive but they are cheaper. Any idea why? Are they older? Benefits of staying at each one? We have 2 boys

    Hi Victoria,

Prices fluctuate based on season and availability.  Normally Disney's Beach Club Villas are more expensive than regular rooms at the Beach Club Resort, but as you've found, that is not always the case.  A deluxe studio at the Villas and a regular room at the Beach Club Resort are quite comparable, although the Resort rooms have two queen beds and the Villas have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa that you'd need to pull out for your boys at night.  Occasionally, the rooms at Disney's Beach Club Resort include an additional day bed for a fifth guest.  Otherwise the amenities in the rooms are very similar between the two adjoining resorts.  The Beach Club Villas, a Disney Vacation Club property, are actually newer than Disney's Beach Club Resort, but only by a few years.  I think you'll find that both are lovely resorts.  You can't make a bad choice here.  Your boys are going to love the pool (Stormalong Bay) that these two resorts share, and don't forget to stop in at Beaches & Cream to sample some of the best ice cream and burgers on Walt Disney World property.

    Have fun!
