can A Florida resident buy adult tickets for out of state as well. Or do they have to go to the park all day with us?

    Hi Tena!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm always happy to help a fellow Tennessean! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner, so I know you must be excited. I'm sure you're going to have a fabulous trip!

There are definitely some great discounts and benefits offered to Florida residents, but unfortunately those benefits do not apply to out-of-state friends or family members visiting with them. Proof of residency is required by each person purchasing a ticket with the Florida resident discount in order to activate the ticket. So I'm afraid it doesn't matter whether the Florida resident is with you or not.

I would recommend that you take a look at the different ticket options and choose the one that fits your plans best. If you don't plan to visit more than one park per day, then you won't need the Park Hopper option. And keep in mind that the more days you spend in the parks, the less you'll pay per day. Be sure to create your My Disney Experience account before you purchase your tickets so that you can link them to your account during the check-out process. Then you'll be all set to make your FastPass+ reservations.

Please stop back by if we can help with anything else. Enjoy your upcoming vacation and make lots of magical memories!
