Flight time changed: we now don't land until 7:01. ME to the GF. Any ideas to make that first short night special for my DS10&DD6? Have early ADR for Tusker House the next morning but I hate to say, "We're here, time for bed!" Thanks for the

    Jessica,

Here is some free, and easy-to-access entertainment for your first night at Walt Disney World. The Electrical Water Pageant swings by the Grand Floridian at around 9:15 pm most nights. This parade of floats on the lagoon are brilliantly lit with all sorts of fun characters and images.

You should have plenty of time to get to the resort and check in. You could grab a quick late night dessert from the Gasparilla Grill (in the resort) and head to the beach to get a great view of the floats as the pass by on the lagoon.

Other options that won't take you far from your resort but could be fun would be to explore the nearby Polynesian resort's wonderful grounds, take a monorail ride, or explore your own resort.

    I hope that this helps?
