Our flight home is at 7:57pm. We plan on visiting the Animal Kingdom park that day. We will be staying at the Animal Lodge. I understand we can leave our packed bags there until time to go. What time would you recomend leaving hotel to get to O airport?

Hello Mary!  Yes, you will be able to leave your bags at the resort while you continue your last day of your Walt Disney World vacation.  This will not be a problem at all and you will just need to deliver them to Bell Services in order to get your claim tickets.  You may also call them if you need help getting them to the lobby.
I am not sure if you will be utilizing Disney's Magical Express which is complimentary to all Walt Disney World Resort guests.  If you are, they will pick you and your family up three hours prior to your scheduled flight.  You will receive your departure information for DME the day before your departure.  If you were not familiar with this service and would like to use it, please call (407 WDW-MAGIC.
Now, if you are choosing not to use DME, I would still recommend you leave at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled flight.  Orlando's airport is big and has a lot of traffic and you want to make sure you do not get stuck in lines.
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel and please come back should any other questions arise.  Have a magical day!
