Our flight gets in at 400pm and we are taking the Magical Express from the airport to our All Stars Movies Hotel. We'd like to briefly check in and hotels that night. Which one would you suggest visiting for our first evening?

Hi, Amy!  Checking out other hotels is a great way to spend your first evening in Disney!

My suggestion would be to take the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom.  From here, you can hop on the resort monorail and check out any of the 3 resorts on this route:  Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian.

All of these hotels are so much fun to explore!  They have amazing lobby areas, shops, and restaurants.  You might want to plan to have dinner at one of the stops.  Perhaps get a reservation for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.   Or, we sometimes enjoy going to Captain Cooks (quick service restaurant) at Polynesian and eating outside on the patio.  You might even luck out and see fireworks from the Magic Kingdom or the Water Pageant right as you sit on the beach!  Check the schedules with guest services that evening.

There is a beautiful walkway from the Polynesian to Grand Floridian, where you can hop the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom to get your bus back to the All-Star Movies Resort.

This is just a suggestion, you will find all the resorts to be amazing and fun to explore.   Enjoy your vacation!
