Hey, Tammie! Thanks for bringing us another great question! So many magical vacations begin aboard
Disney's Magical Express. This fantastic transportation option is offered to all guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and arriving at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Once your flight arrives, you can simply head down to the first level at Terminal B and follow the big Mickey Mouse hands pointing the way. To make your resort arrival super convenient, you may utilize the luggage delivery service.
Tammie, this service is offered exclusively to guests riding Disney's Magical Express to their resort. If you have a very tight time schedule, then I recommend you not utilize the yellow luggage tags that will be mailed to you. Those tags tell airport personnel that the bag is headed to a Resort hotel and it will be set aside. The tag information and its assigned luggage does get cleared once a guest from that reservation checks in at the Disney's Magical Express kiosks.
You do run the risk of having your luggage delayed at the airport if you utilize this luggage delivery serice but do not actually ride the motorcoach. Since you may need items stored in your luggage before the event that night, I'd say claiming your luggage from the carousel would be your best plan. If your timing is practically perfect, then you can take your luggage to the motorcoach and the driver will assist you in stowing it underneath as you ride to your resort in Disney style. If you do get delayed, then you can simply head to the rideshare pick-up point with your luggage.
I hope this information helps you plan a pixie-dusted arrival for your Disney adventures! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
