Our flight arrives in Orlando at 9am Thursday. We have scheduled the Disney Magical Express transportation from the Orlando Airport to the Polynesian Resort. Do we have enough time to have Lunch in MK by 12:00 Noon? At Polynesian by 12:00 Noon?

    Hi there, Andrew!

Wow! Your vacation is coming right up! You must be so excited!

You are going to love using Disney's Magical Express to whisk you away from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Polynesian Resort!

I think that noon is a safe time to plan on lunch at your Resort. There are a few things to keep in mind, however. When you arrive at your gate at the Orlando airport, you will need to take a shuttle train to the main part of the airport and head over to the Disney's Magical Express check-in area. You may need to wait for a bus, but, on the other hand, you might not have to wait at all. It really depends on flight fluctuation and things that might be going on at the airport at the time. It's about a 30-40 minute drive once you're on the bus (depending on traffic) to get to Walt Disney World. One more thing to take into consideration is that the bus you're on might stop at other Resort hotels prior to yours.

I'd say that if you want to make a lunch reservation at one of the incredible restaurants right there at your Resort hotel, noon would be a pretty safe time. If you'd rather have lunch at Magic Kingdom Park, I'd bump that up to 12:30. Of course, you can always give the folks at Disney Dining a quick call if you're running late for your Advanced Dining Reservation and they can put a note in or possibly even bump your reservation to a little bit later.

I sure hope this helps, Andrew! Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel and I wish you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
