My five year old wants to meet Merida and Pocahontas. Both princesses do not have Fast Pass meet and greets nor are they at character meals. How much time should I expect to wait to meet these princesses? Any advice on the best time to try to meet them?

    Hi Autumn,

Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Moms Panel. I have a little almost 5 year old, and she is all about meeting the Disney Princesses during our magical vacations. When meeting Merida and Pocahontas, wait times will vary depending on the time of day. During our visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom, we were told the queue for Pocahontas was at a 30 minute wait in the morning, but during the afternoon, there was no wait whatsoever. The same was true during our visit to Magic Kingdom to see Princess Merida and Princess Tiana. The most we waited was about 10 minutes for Princess Tiana.

My suggestion is to enter the queue as soon as you can, even if the Princesses haven't arrived yet. Times for Character Meet and Greets can be found on the My Disney Experience app, so check periodically during the day to see when it would be the best time to visit.

I hope this answer helps you, Autumn. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us anytime.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
