    Deb Asked

Our first visit to WDW, Sept 2012 with DD4 and DD8. Staying at Caribbean Beach Club. Plane lands at 2pm on Wednesday, and then leaves at 1pm on Monday. Park hopper passes for all 6 days. What are good things to see on those arrival and departure days?

Hi Deb!  Arrival and departure days can always be a bit stressful so its important you don't try to pack a lot in to wear yourselves out!

Since you have park tickets for all six days this will allow you to snag a dining reservation in a park for dinner that night versus a resort restaurant.  I suggest you might enjoy a trip to Hollywood Studios or Epcot as these parks are the closest to your resort and have many great dining options. If you choose Epcot most of the restaurants will be in the World Showcase which will be a bit of a walk for you on a tiring arrival day. My choice would be to select something fun like Primetime Cafe at Hollywood Studios to start your vacation off with lots of laughter. You can walk around a bit and maybe take in an attraction but make this just about dining.

On your departure day you don't have a lot of time but you might be able to hop over to the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom for an early character breakfast reservation. Be careful of your timing as you need to leave for the airport non less then two hours ahead and more like three if you are taking Magical Express. This doesn't give you much time and the safer thing to do is to take the morning and finish packing and maybe getting in the last swim in the pool. (Take large water tight bags to pack wet suits in for the trip home).
