First visit to WDW in July and want to experience the various types of transportation (monorail, boat, etc.) offered. Staying at the CSR and will be visiting all theme parks. Any advice on the best use of WDW transportation? Thanks - 75 days and counting!

    Hi Jennifer,

A first visit to Walt Disney World is so exciting!  I think you'll be surprised at how spread out everything is.  It really is a magical world of its own.

Since you'll be staying at Coronado Springs, you'll mostly rely on bus transportation.  Do you have a Park Hopper Pass?  If so, consider spending the morning at Magic Kingdom and then taking the monorail to Epcot for the evening.

If you don't have Park Hoppers, I would make dining reservations at a monorail resort: Contemporary, Grand Floridian or Polynesian.  You can take the monorail from either Epcot or Magic Kingdom to these resorts.

Likewise, consider dining at one of the restaurants along the Boardwalk.  You can take a boat launch from either Epcot or Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk area.  You can also travel between these 2 parks via boat.  Beaches & Cream is a great spot for a burger and (of course) ice cream.  There are tons of restaurants for just about every budget and taste from casual to upscale.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
