It will be our first visit to Be Our Guest in March 2019. We have heard the dining experience is different between pre-ordering your meal and ordering at the kiosks. For first time diners which way would you recommend to order our meals?

    Hi Steve,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

For breakfast and lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I definitely recommend that you take advantage of the order-ahead option. Currently, there is no order-ahead option for dinner. When we have not ordered ahead, the lines for the kiosks have been long. On one visit, getting through the line to order took at least 30 minutes. I had not planned for that additional 30 minutes and we were then pressed for time to make one of our Fast Pass+ selections. When we do pre-park opening dining reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I order ahead to save time. We make pre-park opening dining reservations for 8:00 a.m. on a day when the park opens at 9:00 a.m. As long as we can leave the restaurant by 8:45 a.m., we have been able to jump in the stand-by line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and ride before the crowds arrive!

Other than the extended wait when we did not order ahead, our dining experiences were very similar for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a more elaborate dining experience with the Beast making an appearance - he is also available for photos. As you prepare for your trip, keep an eye on your My Disney Experience Account. The "Place or Change Advance Order" link should appear just below your dining confirmation number 30 days prior to your reservation. Be sure to review the breakfast or lunch menu prior to placing your order.

Steve, Be Our Guest Restaurant is simply stunning. While there, take some time to view each of the dining areas. Our favorite is the Grand Ballroom!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
