First visit to DW with our kids ages 7 & 9. We haven't booked airfares yet. Looking at 3 nights/4days (2 theme parks) and want to avoid crowds or need for fast passes, and not miss rides,parades/fireworks. Is there a recommended week in Jan/Feb?

    Hello Zarlacht,

Thank you for the question and we're happy to help you nail down the best travel dates to maximize your vacation dollars. As you might suspect, holidays or special events will draw larger crowds. The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place January 7-11, 2015 and Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is January 19th. In February, I would avoid Valentine's weekend which happens to also be Presidents' Day weekend, and the 20th-22nd as the Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be crowded.

My vote would be the last week of January or early February. I hope my answer was helpful and feel free to visit us again with further planning questions.

Best wishes for a magical visit.
