This is our first trip to WDW with a 5 year old next May. We are deciding between POFQ and a value resort. Is it better to choose the value and stay an extra day or go for POFQ? We didn't like the idea of double beds- so we were leaning POFQ. Any thoughts?

Hi Melissa! I totally understand your dilemma. We usually always opt for the value resort and a longer stay. My daughter has always preferred the value resorts, as the theming is fantastic. Bed size can be an issue though, and the queens in the moderates are lovely! We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter this past February and absolutely loved it. The size of the resort is great - not too big; the setting is beautiful and we love the boat ride to Downtown Disney.

Bottom line - if you're like us and think you'll be wanting one more Disney day (we always do), then go for the Value Resort! They're fun, and the price can't be beat!
