This will be our first trip to WDW (October, 2012). My daughter is 7yrs old. Where is the best place and time to see Princess Tiana? We are already scheduled for the character dining. Also, our budget is tight. How much do you recommend for spending money

Yeah! Your first trip to Walt Disney World! Be prepared to have a blast zooming down Space Mountain, meeting Disney Princesses, eating Mickey ice cream, and viewing spectacular fireworks.

In just two months your little princess can meet Princess Tiana. Typically the best place for a meet and greet with this spunky, hard working beauty and her man Prince Naveeen is near the Liberty Square Bridge. Pick up a Times Guide when you enter the park to check the hours she will be appearing.

At WDW you are in control of your spending money. You can live large by eating only table service meals, reserving jet skis every afternoon, and picking up a souvenir at every country in Epcot's World Showcase. You can go a more economical route and tote your own water bottles and granola bars into the parks, eat cereal in your room for breakfast, and forego boat rentals. Our family tends to skip souvenirs in favor of experiences such as a fireworks cruise or Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. At a theme park at 3:00 in the afternoon, however, I will pay anything for a cold Diet Coke. Pick a spending budget you are comfortable with and stay within your allowance.

Planning a first visit to WDW can be overwhelming. I would love to help you create this magical chapter in your family's story so please contact me if you have any additional questions or want recommendations. Enjoy your first glimpse of Cinderella Castle!
