This will be our first trip to WDW since our honeymoon 14 years ago! Our older daughters will be 12 & 9 would BBB be to "Little kidish" for them? We don't want them to feel left out when our younger daughter does it.

    Hello Catherine!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You must be thrilled to be returning to the magic after so long!

Unfortunately, this is one of those answers where it completely depends on the child. I know 12-year-olds who are extremely excited for their royal makeover and some 8-year-olds who are already "too cool" for one. You may want to ask them how they feel, or give them an alternative option like The Pirates League. At The Pirates League even adult Guests are invited to become one of Jack's crew and with options like a stunning Empress or a shimmering Mermaid they may feel a bit more "grown-up" while participating in the fun.

I am sure they will love any special experience you choose. After all, never growing up is part of the magic. Let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with, Catherine. Have a wonderful vacation!

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
