Hello! This is our first trip to WDW and we will be flying in. We're staying at the resort and signed up for the dining plan. We are checking flights now... has anyonenused the Disney agentsto book through them for flights? Any suggestions or experiences?

    Hi Julie!

I am so excited for your trip!  I love going with people on their first trip to Walt Disney World. It's such a magical place, and I really think you will fall in love with it.

That's great that you have so much taken care of!  I have used a Disney agent in the past to book flights, and it worked fine.  Personally, I think the Disney agent is most beneficial for planning and booking the actual vacation package, but you already have that taken care of.

If you know what times you want to travel, it could be easier to just make your flights yourself.  There is nothing wrong with using an agent, but you would have to relay your wishes to them, approve their suggestions, and then they would book.   Booking your own flights online is pretty simple, and it allows you to change your flights, if needed.  If an agent books them, you may have to have them make any changes. I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to our Disney vacation plans, so I like to have the "power" to change as needed;-)

Once you have your flights (if you do it yourself), you can easily link it to your reservation to reserve your Disney's Magical Express transportation from the Orlando International Airport.

So, basically, either one is totally fine!  Just do what you feel comfortable with and is easiest for you.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
