Our first trip to WDW is in 30 days, is there anything I am probably missing at this point? We have hotel, food package, airlines, and some souvenirs to take with. I feel like I need to do more?!?! please help.

    Hi Krystina,

How exciting - you are within a month to your first vacation to Walt Disney World! You are smart to get some preliminary planning done before you go. You are well on your way having booked your resort, dining package, airlines, and souvenirs.

Have you considered how you are going to get from the airport to Walt Disney World? If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, Disney offers free transportation to and from your resort called Disney's Magical Express. This wonderful service will pick you up from the airport and take you straight to your resort - they can even handle your luggage for you! You can book Disney's Magical Express by calling 407-WDW-MAGIC (407-939-6244). Disney's Magical Express operates out of Orlando International Airport (MCO). If you are flying into another airport, or if you are staying at a resort not on Walt Disney World property, you need to consider other means of transportation to your resort. These could include renting a car or checking if your resort offers shuttle service.

I also suggest that you consider buying your Walt Disney World theme park tickets online. Getting your theme park tickets ahead of time will save you time waiting in line on that first day when you really want to get into the theme parks! Be sure to do this through the Walt Disney World site at disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets. There are some fraudulent ticket brokers on the internet and you wouldn't want to get tickets which are not valid. One legitimate broker of tickets online who I have used before is undercovertourist.com  - you can try them to see if you can save a few dollars on a ticket, but this will depend on the type of ticket you are buying.

Other than that, I think that your planning is in good shape, Krystina! Good luck in these final stages of planning and please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have further questions.
